Watching Flowers – Luzia Simons & Anton Hofreiter
WATCHING FLOWERS
Opening: August 7, 2021, 6 pm
Exhibition: August 7 & 8, 12 noon – 8 pmpavlov’s dog is at guest at guest at Salon am Moritzplatz to juxtapose the views on nature of Luzia Simons and Anton Hofreiter (painter and chairman of the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group). Curated by Michael Biedowicz.
At the opening there will be a talk with Luzia Simons and Anton Hofreiter about their view of nature and why intact ecosystems and species protection are needed. Another highlight will be the auction of the works on August 8th. The proceeds will be donated to a civil society organisation of indigenous environmental activists in the Brazilian Amazon.
